What is your biggest regret?

Singer/songwriter Chris Black googled [side note... don't you just love when brands become verbs? I.e. Google > googled, Xerox > xeroxed] "biggest regrets" for his song " Someone Else." The result is this interesting video:



Now that I've praised the video, let us deconstruct the art.

Anybody else tired of supersensitive and oh-so dramatic products? The buzz word is emo. "I'm emotional, take me seriously." Yeah, yeah. Take me back to the days when my sodas were cold, my music was loud and my veggie burgers were flaming.

This whole morose angst trend is a bit Dawson's Creek on a 10 year delay. I blame coffeehouses, flat irons and John Mayer.

All that to say, I applaud the creative video, marketing and moment of zen.

Biggest regret? Not listening to music turned up to 11.
